Problem

Canadian Blood Services announced that 22,000 blood donors are urgently needed.

Insight

After giving blood, donors are given treats to raise blood sugar levels and prevent shock.

Solution

To support the Canadian Blood Services, Smarties took the red Smarties out of their product line and donated them to blood clinics where donors received them as limited edition treats.
